Social Media Manager News
Our founding Social Media Manager, Mike Baker, recently stepped down from the position:
Hello all,
I'm
writing today to let you all know that as of today, November 7th 2017, I
will no longer be handling the SacVCOA social media responsibilities.
I
took on the position with the anticipation that I would be able to
easily keep up but frankly, with the amount of responsibilities and
events in my personal life, it is difficult to find time to dedicate to
SacVCOA. As such, and as some of you may have already noticed, there has
been little to no activity on the SacVCOA social media accounts. I feel
the position would be better handled by somebody who can dedicate more
time to it.
Thank you all for the opportunity to let me help out
in what way I have. Moving forward, I do still wholly intend to attend
events and provide photography for SacVCOA as my scheduling permits.

Seeking Social Media Volunteers
Our social media accounts were created with the goal of expanding the club and encouraging new membership via online out-reach.
As
Social Media Manager, Mike Baker was instrumental in developing and
coordinating content for our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.
As Sac Volvo Club Members, we know you already love Volvos and having local events in the Sacramento area!
So, if you also love social media communities, value teamwork, and have some time to share, we want to hear from you!

Interim Social Media Manager
Until
the Social Media Manager position is filled and/or individual
Administrators for specific social media accounts are found, Elizabeth
Brown, our Webmaster, has volunteered to additionally serve as the
Interim Social Media Manager.
During this
time, please note that there may be delays responding to direct
messages through the social media channels and approving / replying to
visitor posts.
We appreciate your understanding and patience during this transition.
Like
the mailing list, social media content will focus primarily on Sac
Volvo Club news, announcements, and event updates as the information is
confirmed.
